If you're smart, why aren't you rich?

Once upon a time in America, people often asked this:

If you're smart, why aren't you rich?

To be RICH, although, is not always related to IQ.

In the current societies, to become rich you must be a psychopath, obsessively spending your life accumulating wealth.

This is not the cleverest way of living your life.

Nowadays we live in a world dominated by psychopaths but we really don't want to become one of them, not if we are smart.

We do want to have RESOURCES to do something worth doing: To make the world better.

A psychopath is someone ready to sacrifice everything: his own health, his soul, this planet, even his own children to a goal: making more and more money.

These are the people in charge, nowadays. The remaining citizens (99% of the population) are expected to act as consumers, workers, spectators, cattle, pieces of the economic machinery.

Many of those owners of vast empires, although, wouldn't be able to improvise so much, with so little resources, as some third world human begins have to do, everyday.

Like this guy in the picture. He is certainly poor but with a vast supply of neurons.

He might even be clever than the CEO of Goldman Sachs but he was born in the wrong continent, in the wrong society, maybe even with the wrong color and, most of all, without obsessive disorders.

If I had to bet on someone to face the tremendous and unknown changes of the future I would bet on him.

He is the best the mankind has to offer.

Obviously.
